How to sort the folders in document library?

How to sort the folders in document library without coding?





1. Create a new Folder Content Type

 2. Add a Sort Order column

 3. Associate the Folder Content Type with the document library

 4. Update the All Documents view to Sort with Sort Order column.

 5. Add the folders with the content type created to add the Sort Order sequence.
If the above followed, your folder sorting should work fine.

If the search results return the searchresults filtered by the managed property, the managed property is available for search refiners.
